Hon. Zaharaddeen Babba Mazoji, Waziri Matazu, has expressed deep concern over the lack of developmental projects and support from the Minister of Arts and Culture, Hon. Hannatu Musa Musawa, two years after her appointment.

The constituency is in dire need of assistance in areas such as employment, empowerment, healthcare, scholarships, and infrastructure development. Specifically, the people are yearning for job opportunities for our youths, and it's disheartening that not a single job has been secured for the teeming youth population from the constituency through her efforts.

Hon. Mazoji expressed his concerns at a press conference on Wednesday ,highlighting limited access to healthcare and education, and a lack of employment opportunities in the constituency.

He questioned the Minister's absence from the constituency, asking when last she visited and how many youths had benefited from her job creation initiatives. How many people from Musawa/Matazu constituency have you gotten jobs through your office or connections? he asked. He also asked how many indigent women and men had received empowerment support from her office.

Hon. Mazoji Waziri Matazu urged the Minister to learn from other Ministers who frequently visit their constituencies and provide various forms of developmental support. He called on Minister Musawa to visit the constituency and witness the plight of the people firsthand.
Paying for the WAEC and NECO fees of our indigent students, especially orphans, would be a good starting point, Hon. Mazoji suggested. The people of Musawa/Matazu deserve leaders who are committed to their development and well-being.

Hon. Mazoji emphasized that it is time for action, not words, and that the people of Musawa/Matazu deserve better. He urged Minister Musawa to take immediate action to support her constituency and improve the lives of her people.
